Have you been feeling stuck?

Maybe you’ve been wanting to change something in your life

but you just can’t seem move forward.

Or maybe your thoughts are swirling and you’re going around in circles in your mind,

and you can’t decide what to do next.

Or maybe you feel like something is missing in your life, but you’re not sure what’s missing.

Perhaps you’re wondering… “Is this all there is to life?”

Even after

  • Doing things that looked fun.
  • Achieving things that people said would give you happiness.
  • Doing meaningful work to feel fulfilled.
  • Done some self development work and shed some layers of your past self.

You feel a sense of emptiness.

And part of you knows:

If this sounds like you, let’s talk!

Hi! I’m Cheryl

What is Coaching?

A coaching session is a space in which we
talk (i.e have a conversation),
pause to consider what’s been said or asked,
– pause to notice what your unconscious mind (aka inner wisdom aka body) knows.

When we allow ourselves to be in this space with curiosity, without judgment and without worrying about being judged, answers unfold.

How this differs from regular conversations

In our daily life, our social conversations might be about the latest Netflix show, the hottest bubble tea joint in town, venting about work or people in our lives.

These conversations often stay at the surface level, a level that is comfortable for most of us.
It allows us to distract ourselves from the underlying issues.

We might feel better in the short term, but our worries and issues quickly resurface again since nothing has fundamentally changed.

And here’s where a coaching conversation can be helpful.

When we have a deeper conversation in a safe space, and have someone to guide the process, we are able to go deeper into what’s underneath the surface, pull it up and make sense of things.

A coaching conversation is a collaborative, co-creative process where the client’s thinking and experience of the issue is expanded through inquiry, openness, and exploration. The process supports clients in gaining insight, thinking more creatively about problems or challenges, and identifying and developing their own solutions.

What coaching is NOT:

A coaching conversation is not one in which the coach tells you what to do next. If you have the image of a sports coach in your mind – someone who looks at your issues and tells you what steps to take to get out of it – that’s not what we do here. It’s called a conversation for a reason!

My coaching approach

I walk alongside you in your search for answers within.

I hold a safe space for you to explore your inner thoughts and desires — zero judgement on whatever comes up.

I do not give solutions, because I deeply believe that the most effective solutions are the ones that come from within you, based on the context of your specific circumstances and past experiences.

In other words…

My role (as coach) in this process where we allow answers to unfold:

  • To reflect back to you what was shared, so that you can hear yourself clearly
  • To pull together threads and elements that have surfaced (things that seem unrelated but might be related),
  • To bring a sense of openness and centredness, in order to provide a space for you to observe how you relate to what’s come through for you.

If this sounds interesting,
let’s explore together!

Two ways that we could work together

Client Experiences

Cheryl was open, present, curious, patient and allowed me to calm down and slow down my thoughts and to allow my feelings to come up. The questions helped me to see what I can do to change and be better for myself. I was able to connect with Cheryl and myself in the session.

Sash

Trainer and Coach, Financial Investment Firm

I left the session with a deeper understanding of myself and my motivations. Cheryl was able to guide me in identifying areas I could work on and crafting an action plan to address those. I was impressed with how deep she led me to dig into my past experiences with her ability to ask the right questions.

Director, Alternative Investment Firm

Having a series of coaching sessions with Cheryl over the course of several months has been invaluable to my personal growth.

She is an amazingly intuitive coach who has a beautiful ability to tune into your needs in the moment. She guides you in an organic way by asking insightful questions that lead you to a deeper understanding of yourself. Her approach is supportive and gentle, and yet she’s not afraid to ask questions that might be a little confronting and challenging.
